How to find a
painting professional:
Be choosy! Have a minimum of three
professionals view and discuss your project. Do a comparative
analysis on what each licensed and insured contractor has to offer.
Compare the price along with the written details that support that
written price.

1. Will the
estimate include a sq ft price?
Yes, all prices are provided based on
square footage.
2. How will I know the square footage of the project?
Expert estimators measure every foot of
the project to better guide owners in accurately calculating,
evaluating, understanding, defining and budgeting their customized
project scope.
3. How long does an estimate appointment usually last?
Each appointment is custom to the
project size and scope. An average appointment can take
approximately 30 minutes. We schedule sufficient allotted time to
answer all questions our customers may have.
4. Will I be consulted in color selection and proper palette
coordination?
Yes, color consultation services are
incorporated into every estimate.
5. How will the project be implemented?
Every project has a defined scope which
will be outlined for the customer prior to the beginning of the
project.
6. What type of paint will be suitable for my project?
A certified estimator will discuss
every aspect of your project in regards to product type, product
sheen and performance.
7. Does my project require primer?
Primer is and always will be the most
important step in preparing the surface(s). During project
walkthroughs, estimators share their years of experience with
potential clients about what type of primer is suitable for their
particular need.
8. What particular types of medium(s) are utilized?
Note: mediums are defined as various
sundries such as: (spackling, caulking, and different types of vinyl
and metal based fillers)
Only certain types of mediums shall be utilized for added life and
dependability. Our estimators will discuss in detail all of your
medium choices and needs to properly correct surface deficiencies
for long term durability.
9. Will I benefit from using recycled products for my painting
project?
The coatings application industry has
evolved quickly and owners, builders, and site managers have several
new products to choose from to properly access their current coating
needs.
10. Will light cleaning be performed prior to the prep stage?
Yes, every project includes a chemical
free pre-clean and a final light cleaning.
11. Will new drop cloth be utilized during the project?
Yes, all coverage tools are cleaned
professionally prior to use.
12. Will non damaging masking tape be used?
Yes, we utilize quality 3M products.
13. Will my furniture and accessories be covered?
Yes, a light non scratch 3M plastic
shall be utilized.
14. How will the paint be applied?
Each painting project has a specific
Application process which will be discussed.
15. The project contains oil base paints can I still paint?
Yes, the estimator will discuss all
options you have.
16. When the project is completed, how will it be handled?
A final cleaning shall be preformed
limited to: cleaning glass, dusting, sweeping, and light vacuuming.
17. Will I receive some assistance in moving heavy furniture?
Yes, limited to entertainment centers
and beds which will be moved out 2 1/2 feet from the wall area to be
painted.
18. Will I need to pack or move any items prior to the start of the
project?
Yes. All wall hangings will need to be
removed and placed in an area not receiving any paint. All surface
areas of items to be covered in plastic will need to be free and
clear of any items (small or large items, breakables, heirlooms, or
other valuables).
19. Will blinds, switch plates, and plugs be removed and
re-installed?
Yes, blinds are removed, labeled for
ease of designation, and re-installed. Plugs and switches are also
removed, labeled, and re-installed upon completion of project.
20. Will windows be re-caulked prior to painting?
Yes. Old caulking is removed and
installed with new caulking.

1. How will exterior water blasting
benefit my exterior project?
Our technicians have years of knowledge in safely removing dirt and
other contaminants from the surface(s) to be painted for proper
adhesion and long term reliability.
2. What is the ideal surface
temperature for beginning the process?
It is recommended by top leading manufactures that the surface
degree must be at least 40 degree's or higher.
3. What are the steps must be
taken prior to water blasting surfaces to be painted?
The entire perimeter must be free and clear of at least 7 feet out
from the structure so that proper cleaning techniques can be
implemented with ease.
4. What steps do I need to take
prior to painting if I have leaking gutters?
We have an inexpensive system of repairing minor leaks.
5. Will plantings, landscaping,
and walkways be protected from overspray?
Yes, we use light weight cotton sheets to protect all landscaping
near the surfaces to be painted. Walkways near the house will be
covered with heavy duty drop cloths.
